Mooglecraft!

Alright, kids, gather 'round, it's update time!

Today I updated the Magick Arcane Background. Mages now start with as much Power Points as a Generic Wizard, but start with twice as many spells, this is because they have a limited choice of spells and many are redundant. There is also no serious consequence for failure.

What's new, though, is the Mooglecraft Arcane Background! I don't know about you, guys, but to me it sounds like a load of fun to play either Cannoneer or Machinist. The classes take a bit from the Weird Science AB. This background is Agility based, so to balance them out they get to do some extra steps before they can perform their power. These classes are inspired by the Flintlock and Gadgeteer classes from FFTA2.

Also, there's a new page: Races! This one isn't really that exiting because I took race descriptions off the web and then followed the rules in the SW handbook. so 99% of the credit goes to the awesome people at http://www.returnergames.com/. What I'm particularly proud of is how smoothly the conversion went! I only had to make up like 2 edges! I really love character creation in this system. Also, I found it amusing that the species (besides hume) could get an increase to an attribute each!

Anyhow, check it out and feel free to give me any feedback here or in the PEGinc.com forums!

Nothing a Phoenix Down can't fix!

I suppose Google updated the way shared Drive documents work, and it was asking me to approve each and every (both of them!) request. Not gonna lie, I got very emotional. I was reminded of the great times I had, and as a bonus I was notified that people were still stumbling upon this project! I was able to run a three-year campaign with dear friends using this material, and that alone made it worth the while. And knowing that I can somehow share that joy is a bit too much for me. Thank you, dear reader for dropping by. It means the world to me. Update: Google went and change how sharing works again so now the PDF is now hosted at Neocities, so anyone can get it without bugging me.

Version 1.2

Version 1.2 because OCD! Now featuring custom-made cover art by Waned MalavĂ©! Table of contents! More detail added to Resilience. More detail added to Trappings, including potential status effects, and rank requirements. Simplified the Bangaa race. Wrote a quick note on currency in the game-master’s section. “How to enjoy this book” section. “Limit Breaks” section. Minor corrections throughout. Formatting adjustments for better readability. Download it right here! I don't think I'll be making any more updates until we've play-tested the new mechanics. As always, I appreciate your feedback!

Viera (male)

Contrary to popular belief, Vieras don’t just spring out of holes in the ground. Upon reaching a certain age and certain other merits, a female Viera is allowed to leave the village, with the tribe’s blessing, in order to find a mate. These searches can take decades, but if successful, she will return to the village and give birth to a child, most likely a girl. If a boy is born, he will be raised until coming of age, when he is cast out of the forest. Usually the boy’s father will predict this date and approach the forest to find his son, but often times the boy will wander off and become a hermit, or integrate into society among other races. Male Viera are very similar to the females except for the ears, which tend to be shorter and flop backwards. Most people will know they are not Humes, but won’t figure out they’re male Viera. A fact they usually keep for themselves. Sensitivity to Mist:  Perhaps because of their latent wild side, Vieras are extremely sensitive to Mi...
